99 Hell Records (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates https://99hellrecords.com. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over your data.

We comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA, Canada), Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25), and the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable.

1. What we collect

We collect only what you give us directly:

• Collab form submissions — name, email, optional reference link, and message text. Submitted via the form at /collab.
• Email correspondence — when you message hello@, signings@, or press@99hellrecords.com.
• WhatsApp messages — initiated via the WhatsApp Business link on the site.

We do not use third-party advertising trackers. We do not set cookies for marketing or profiling purposes. We do not sell your personal information to anyone, ever.

2. How we use it

The information you submit is used solely to:

• Reply to your collaboration, signing, press, or general inquiry.
• Evaluate your submission against our open opportunities (e.g., feature slots on the upcoming album).
• Maintain a record of communication for our own reference.

3. Who we share it with

We share your information only with service providers that help us operate the site. As of the effective date of this policy, those are:

• Vercel — site hosting and analytics (server logs, IP addresses anonymized within 30 days).
• Resend — transactional email delivery for the collab form.
• Supabase — content management and form-submission storage.
• Cloudflare — DNS, email routing for our domain addresses.

Each of these vendors is bound by their own privacy policy and a data processing agreement with us. We never share your information for marketing purposes.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

We use only strictly necessary cookies — those required for the site to function (session storage for the loading splash, audio playback state). We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.

5. How long we keep your data

Form submissions and email correspondence are kept for as long as the conversation is active plus 24 months for our records. After that, we delete them on request or during periodic data clean-up.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Request deletion of your information.
• Withdraw consent at any time.
• Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

7. Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 (under 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, contact us and we will delete it.

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Form submissions are stored in encrypted databases. Access is restricted to authorized personnel only. No system is perfectly secure — we cannot guarantee absolute protection but we apply industry-standard safeguards.

9. International transfers

Our service providers operate in Canada, the United States, and the European Union. By using the site, you consent to your information being processed in these regions.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
